Energy Conservation through Efficiency
Commercial building owners can defer certain costs depending on the expenses passed onto the tenants. Triple net leases (NNN) offer the most protection for owners and or landlords. However, depending on the types of commercial space, there may be common areas that tenants use but are not responsible for. We can evaluate the mechanical systems that serve these areas.
Also, a tenant may complain about their skyrocketing heating and cooling costs, drafts in the building envelope, etc; we can evaluate and offer cost cutting measures and solutions.
If you have a tenant that requires substantial water usage, such as a Salon, Health Club, Restaurant or the like, they may pay for their hot water but you may be paying for the water and sewer consumption. We can address these issues and offer solution based ideas. (See Water Conservation)
